In early 2025-11, I started preparing to get the snow tires mounted on our car. It was then that I discovered that our previous mobile tire change supplier was no longer in operation. Therefore, an alternative was needed. Having previously gotten some work done at Mr Lube, and being satisfied with the results, and realizing that the lead time to make an appointment at a traditional garage would be weeks away, Mr Lube seemed like a good option According to Google Maps, the slowest time at the Barrhaven Mr Lube on a Saturday is 2:00 pm. So, on the Saturday before our first big snow storm (2025-11-08), I purposefully went to Mr Lube that Saturday at that time to get my winter tires mounted. Unfortunately, because of the snow storm forecast for the next day, so did a lot of other people. The line up was much longer than I was used to from previous visits there; but I thought the wait wouldn't TOO bad as someone farther ahead of me was giving up waiting as they pulled out of line. Not long after, a Mr Lube staff member came up to me and informed me that they were NOT accepting more clients that day, as the laster person accepted in line wasn't expected to enter the service bay until closing time. However they would be please to see me Sunday Not wanting to take a chance whether I would get in or not at Mr Lube the nextday; I looked for an alternative. With the help of Google Maps, I found On-The-Go Tire Change. Calling the up, I was able to make an appointment for late in the day Sunday – the day of the storm As Sunday progressed and the snow started to deepen; I was getting a little worried that they might cancel on account of the weather. Thankfully, they did not; though the weather did delay their arrival by about 30 to 40 minutes The technician who arrived (Don) was very polite and apologetic for arriving late, explaining that it was a result of the road conditions (his previous job having been somewhere in Kanata). He was also very greatful when we told him we could move the car needing the tire change into the garage (after we moved our primary car out of the garage), so that he wouldn't have to complete the tire change outside, in the storm, and in the driveway Once we switched which car was in the garage, everything went very quickly and smoothly. To ensure that there would be no future problem, the technician torqued the lug nuts twice. He also stored the dismounted summer tires on our tire rack in the garage (rather than leaving that for us to do – certainly appreciated) The work is invoiced, sent by E-Mail the following day. Payment can be made by credit card, or by E-Transfer. There is a 2.9 % surcharge if you choose to pay by credit card. Their fee for the tire change is $ 10.00 more than my previous supplier (but then maybe the difference is why they are no longer in operation). It is also close to 80 % more than that at Mr Lube; but then certainly Mr Lube is able to amortize their costs over a far greater volume of business We were certainly greatful to On-The-Go Tire Change that they were able to fit us in on relatively short notice; and the well delivered service

Needed a quick change due to the early snowfall, and gave this company a call. They showed up professionally, efficiently, and with way more attention to detail than most big shops I’ve dealt with. double-checked everything, and even gave me a few pointers on tire care that I’ve never heard from anyone else. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in the results. The pricing was fair, the service was fast, and the whole experience felt smooth and trustworthy. If you’re looking for someone who actually cares about doing the job right, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this team to everyone I know.

EDITED NOV 2025: Quick and easy. Owen showed up a little late but he did call beforehand to say there was a delay. Last year I was dissatisfied with the fact the only way to pay was credit which incurred a non-disclosed fee as well. This year they have E-TRANSFER as an option but the billing invoice is confusing and gives two separate balance owing. Also the invoice was emailed at 915pm on November 15th (service was 8am that morning) with a due date of November 15th. I didn't see the email until 5am on the 16th saying overdue. Seems a little quick to pull the trigger on that. I payed via E-TRANSFER and by 10am got another email saying overdue. They seem to have continued issues with their billing system. Service is good but really need to deal with billing better. Due to previous issues Frederick was to make a note for a discount on future service. I didn't receive that discount.

I had the pleasure of having the On The Go crew come do tire changes here in Toronto for me and my family! They did a great job with an on rim tire change for my truck and an off rim tire change for my moms car! Getting booked in was fast and easy. The technicians came right to my home and were very professional. I will be coming back for my spring tire change!

Although the service Max and his coworker performed was done at a fair price, fast, and efficient there is room for improvement in their professionalism. 1. I was not warned about the 2.9% credit card surcharge, I would have gladly went to the bank. 2. Improper street parking, one of their vehicles was parked much too far from the curb and the other was facing the wrong direction. 3. Upon arrive neither of the employees introduced themselves or which company they worked for.

I love complaining. It's just about my favorite pastime. Unfortunately there is nothing to complain about with these guys. - The tech arrived dead on at the appointment time. - Hauled the tires from the storage area to my car. - Used a torque wrench instead of an air wrench to set the lug nuts to 95PSI, instead of the usual garage setting of 200 PSI - which always made it impossible to remove them myself. - Set the tire pressures to factory specs. - Hauled the summers to the storage area. - Charged considerably less than the competition. Maybe I can complain about the fact that there is nothing to complain about?

I booked and got serviced the same day. Very friendly and courteous. They offer a tremendous service to people who can’t spend the time to get their tires changed elsewhere. I will definitely use them from now on.

Zach, Hunter, and the company owner went above and beyond to help diagnose wobbly winter steel rims+tires they installed. The On The Go guys did their jobs perfectly, and through all of our troubleshooting we determined the fault to most likely be incorrectly sized spacers provided by the previous shop who swapped the tires. They graciously offered to swap back to a good set of tires+rims on a second visit to my driveway the next day, at no cost, to ensure I had reliable transportation. Outstanding service, paired with some phenomenal customer service. I booked an off-rim tire change, and these lovely gentlemen delivered on that quite well. When there was a delay in getting my appointment going, the customer service rep was nothing but courteous and helpful, and went out of their way to make things right. IMO the "magic sauce" with these guys is that the staff seem to deeply care about the business, and it very clearly comes through. Keep it up!

On the go tire change went above and beyond my expectation. He came to my house two hours earlier and was finished changing the tires within 30 mins. He explained how the torque worked on the wheel, and he advised me of the condition of my tires and they will need replacing next year. On the go tire change also sells tires and rims. I will be replacing my rusted rims with new ones from them. It is an all shop stop for me. Thank you very much. See you next year.

I’ve been using this service for several years now. So convenient but more importantly, they arrive in time and provide great service. They swap the tires, check air pressure, tire tread and will indicate concerns etc with brakes, etc. The service tech placed the tires removed very neatly in my designated tight storage area with a smile.

Justin arrived promptly and was very friendly! He grabbed my tires from where they were stacked in the garage and changed them so efficiently. Wonderful service, it saved me so much trouble, I didn't have to bring my baby with me to wait in line, or remove any carseats to get my tires into the trunk. I will definitely be booking again!

I'm a pretty handy, DIY-er kind of person, but there are just some things that are best done by pros. Pros is exactly what On-The-Go is. Excellent, stress-free experience that I would highly recommend. I'm never waiting 2 hours at 6am outside of a garage just to get my tires changed ever again.

Great service! Marcos texted me and was able to come earlier than the appointment. Job was done in 20-30 mins in my driveway, and he packed up my old tires, filled up the new tires to pressure, and retorqued. The thing they don’t do is balance the tires, but it’s in the agreement.

Highly recommend the company for mobile tire swap. I rescheduled a couple of times and they were quite accommodating with it. Also, they did the torque check and adjusted the PSI. Owen was great and thorough and careful with the tire change specially since I had lug nut lock.

Tires were changed on 2 vehicles. The person was very respectful, and asked any detailed questions about the actual lug nuts used for the tires. Afterwards he explained a few things about the tires and just considerations for the future. Overall, a very good experience.
